Week 7 - MKTG 349 - Conversion Tracking
For this weeks post I am going to talk about Conversion tracking in Google Ads. A Conversion in Google ads results from every individual user who clicks on the adds and gains exposure through interactions with the advertisement. It is through this that one can obtain the marcom objectives and goals that are set for the ad.
You can also chose the way you want your conversions to be tracked. IT gives information on your conversions in the reports section. This allows users to thoroughly understand how the advertisement is obtaining the marketing and promotional objectives for the brand or product.

It uses Smart bidding strategies like target CPA and Maximize Conversions, that automatically optimize and strategize your campaigns based on the advertisement and business objectives. It gives information on how many customers are interacting with the ad, and on how many devices or browsers. The platform allows users to view cross-device and cross-browser and other conversion data all in your "All Conversions" column in the report. The link that I have attached to this blog also has a great youtube video that displays why conversion tracking is important and how it can be used to optimize advertisements.
