MKTG 3345 - Week 6 - Organic Searches

There are many different ways one can navigate their way into making it to your website. If one is familiar with your company and website and knows the URL they can submit it manually. It can also be copied and pasted to the URL page. The link and URL can also be sent via message and clicked on, which will take the individual directly to your landing page. Another way the website can be found is via Google Search. This is best for client generation. Usually when someone searches something up the first two links are usually advertisements and the rest are organic.

To see where the traffic from a website is coming from using Google Analytics, all you got to do is click the search box and type in acquisition overview. After that, the report will show all the traffic and where it came from is also seen there. Based on the image above, it is visible that most of the people who came to the website were from direct search. This means that the people clicked on a link that directly took them to the landing page. The next number shown is the organic search, and this totaled to 14. This means that 14 individuals found the website through key word searching.
