MARKETING IN 60 SECONDS: WHAT ARE GOOGLE ADS?
I found this video to be very interesting because I knew that google gets paid for ads but I was not sure and what things I search in result in ads and what content displayed to me from my searches are organic. This 60-second video does a phenomenal job breaking down how this works. I think it's a great way for google to make money and most of the time the adds popping up that are paying for the exposure are usually credible. Since they have the money to pay for the exposure they usually have proper information or products on sale. Out of the important skills companies look for in hiring candidates for 2019 was also a very interesting post. I knew that creativity was an important trait to have but did not think that it was the number one trait on the list. From my experience and understanding, I assumed that the most important would be communication skills. Communication skills come with adaptability, persuasion, and collaboration. I think these three are very crucial to have in the workforce today because people who can get along with others while thoroughly getting their point across are good at teamwork and this allows for efficiency in a team. Out of the hard skills, I think the most important skills that I would possess are analytical thinking and people management. For the most part, I think I have good leadership skills and profound communication skills that will come in handy when I am applying for jobs when I graduate. Overall this week's content was pretty interesting and I am looking forward to the rest of the semester.
